Francesco Civilini
Research Space Scientist
Hi there!
I am a computational geophysicist currently working as a Research Space Scientist at NASA Goddard. I specialize in machine learning algorithm development, model generation and verification, and signal processing and analysis.
My current research focus is to expand lander-side signal assessment using machine learning, but I also dabble in projects concerning geothermal energy, signal detection within noisy datasets, and ambient noise interferometry.
Past Affiliations:
Consultant: Volcanic studies using ambient noise interferometry, 2019-present
IRIS Summer Mentor, Summer 2019
Researcher: Ambient noise studies of geothermal areas, 2013-2018
